Subway Fundraiser – Thursday, May 2nd!
Please join us tomorrow at the Subway restaurant at 7802 Foothill Blvd. in Sunland (corner of Mt. Gleason and Foothill Blvd.) and help us earn money for Apperson! Stop by in the morning between 7 am and 9 am for a healthy breakfast or pick up a nutritious lunch to send to school (or on the field trip!) with your child. Come back between 4 pm and 10 pm for a no-cook family dinner that everyone will love! Drop your receipt in the box at the register and earn money for our school! Please share this with your friends and family as well. See you at Subway!

31st District Reflections Open House
Please join us at the District Reflections Open House on Thursday, April 4th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Chatsworth High School. Several artwork submissions from Apperson students will be on display! We want to send a special congratulations to Amanda L. – her Visual Arts piece “Magic in the Sky” was selected to be displayed at the CA State PTA Convention in San Jose!

Panda Fundraiser this Thursday, March 14th!
Print out this flyer and bring it to the Sunland Panda Express (Foothill/McVine) on Thursday, March 14th, and 20% of your purchase will be donated to Apperson! Scholastic Book Fair is open online!
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school next week, but it is already open online! Follow the link to find out more about the book fair, preview books, and place your order! All books ordered online will ship to the school for FREE at the end of the fair.
Don’t forget to come to Apperson’s Family Fun Night on March 7th – the Book Fair will be open from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Library. See you at the Story Laboratory!
Family Fun Night – Thurs. March 7th, 2013
Family Fun Night is almost here! Get your Opportunity Drawing tickets and Carl’s Jr. meal tickets in advance – available now! Flyers will be coming home this week in your student’s folder, or download them below.
Opportunity Drawing tickets are only $10 for a sheet of 26 tickets. Order them in advance so you have time to write your name and phone number on the back of each ticket – that way, if you are not present at the time of the drawing, we can contact you if you win! This year there are some incredible prizes to win, so you will want to get more than one sheet of tickets for sure!
Wondering how you’ll feed the kids AND make it to this great event? Carl’s Jr. will be ready to serve you! Adult meal tickets are $7 and include your choice of Famous Star, Famous Star with cheese, Western Bacon Cheeseburger, Spicy Chicken, or Veggie burger, and fries and a drink. Kids meal tickets are $6 and include your choice of Hamburger, Cheeseburger, or 4 pc. Chicken Stars, and fries and a drink. Meal tickets will be sold in advance and at the door.
Send cash or checks payable to Apperson PTA in an envelope with your order forms and we will send your tickets home with your child.

FREE Seminar – Kids Protection Planning
